Blinking LED program stops working when connecting from General Purpose GUI

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB3410

I am attempting to interface with the Blinking LEDs program using the General Purpose GUI with the following configuration:

  • Docking-Stn USB-EMU [R3]
  • F28335 controlCard R1.0
  • Docking-Stn SW1 in USB position
  • Using on board XDS100 JTAG emulator
  • No jumpers added, switches changed etc. hardware is out of the box

The PC is connected to the Docking-Stn J3 via TUSB3410UART EVM and DB-9 to 4 pin header (SIL). The Blinking LED program successfully builds and runs with the debugger. I can control the blink rate of LD1 on the controlCard by modifying Gui_LEDPrd. The GUI is configured with the TUSB3410 COM port and the baud rate is set to 57600. When I attempt to connect to the program from the GUI LD1 stops blinking. When I then halt the debugger program execution is stuck at:

 0x3FF9FA:   6F00        SB         0,UNC

Any ideas what's happening here?
