TMS320F280025: Software compatibility among F28002x devices

Hi,

Are all TMS320F28002x are software compatible if packages are the same?
Suppose customer started production with F280025CPTSR, they can switch to F280021PTSR or F280023PTSR without any software/hardware modifications, correct?

Hi Koichiro,

Yes, If the packages are same, F28002x are software compatible without software and hardware modification.
However, there is one thing you need to consider. The three devices you mentioned have different size of Flash. So you need to make sure if the code size doesn't exceed 32KB and code was mapped from Flash sector 0 to 3 for F280021.
