Hi TI,

When the first TX data is 0x1234 and the second TX data is 0x123456, I want to initialize the variable'g_rxIndex' every time it is received.

How to know that there is no more data to receive?

Hi Lee,

By default the SCI RX ISR will be called only if there is any new data received into the RX BUF. If you enable the RXERRINTENA then the interrupt will also be called if there is any error in bus.

To not update your g_rxIndex during error i suggest you receive the data when there is no bus error. i.e in the "else" of ScibRegs.SCIRXST.bit.RXERROR.
