CCS/TMS320F28035: SCI echoback example not working

Can you make sure the Putty setting are as below:

//!  -  Find correct COM port
//!  -  Bits per second = 9600
//!  -  Date Bits = 8
//!  -  Parity = None
//!  -  Stop Bits = 1
//!  -  Hardware Control = None

I am using the correct settings in PuTTY, but it appears as the RX of the MCU is not working correctly

Have you tried the serial terminal of CCS. In debug session -> view -> terminal -> connect new set the baud parameters and click ok.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay, I checked with the terminal from CCS and the same happens, I try to send the message but the uC does not respond.

Is the switch 1 of control card in on position?

Yes,  SW1 is in the On position.

Although its a different device, can you try the suggestions in https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/171/t/157904?F28335-Experimenter-Kit-SCI-A-USB-VCP-Rx-Problem

According to the Control Card info sheet, SW1 in the On position allows communication through the serial cable. But I switched it to on and there is only transmission from the C2000 theres is no reception.
