I want to download the modified program for the target with the password activated. How can I make the on chip flash option in the ccs6.1.0 tool menu work so that I can input the preset password? I connect the target through xds100 and the target device is powered on.

The following is the screenshots after opening ccs6.1.0.

If the password of the Target is not activated, press the debug button to enter the following state:

If the Target’s password has been activated, ccs6.1.0 will display an error when debug is selected or press F11:

    Hi,

    For some reason screen shot is not visible. You may want to upload it again.

    Please note that you may not be able to connect to target device via CCS if device is secure unless you change the BOOTMODE pin setting to "WaitBoot". Once you change the BOOTMODE setting to "WaitBoot" and power cycle the board, you should be able to connect and then you can open the CCS Flash plug-in GUI and enter the correct passwords in password field and perform the flash operation.
