TMS320F28069: dfuprog can't download the image to the device

Hi,

I'm trying to Upload/Download the code image from/to TMS320F28069 device using

the USB boot_loader and application dfuprog.

Device is running in DFU mode:

Which dfuprog.exe are you running?

The error messages says "...does not support Tiva protocol" which I thinks means you are running a dfuprog.exe from TivaWare which is designed for Tiva Cortex-M devices.

Whereas for a TMS320F28069 I think you need to run a C2000 version of dfuprog.exe; it looks like C2000Ware has a utilities/tools/f2806x/dfuprog/Release/dfuprog.exe executable.

Hi Davor,

As suggested by Chester, please try running the dfuprog.exe from C2000Ware.

Hopefully it will resolve the issue you are observing/

Hi, Siddharth,

I was trying to run dfuprog from C2000Ware but drivers you supply with the C2000Ware (C2000Ware_3_03_00_00\utilities\windows_drivers) are not compatible. You supply installation with lmusbdll.dll / lmdfu.dll, but C2000Ware dfuprog require tidfu.dll and tiusbdll.dll.

Please, could you upload official version of installation with tidfu.dll and tiusbdll.dll. That will resolve this issue.

Thank You for the reply.

I was just hoping that Ti can provide an signed driver installation package for Ti dfu device because I was able to find only unsigned installation package on the link 1538.windows_drivers.zip from the thread e2e.ti.com/.../325729.
