TMS320F28388D: boot to flash time

Hello, 

I am using the TMS320F28388D controller.

From the Datasheet the boot to flash is 1.2ms

but my application has global variables that I need to initialize at boot and this initialization takes a  good amount of time.

do we have control over the code which can help us to achieve the mentioned boot to flash at 1.2ms
