Recommended for low power dSP.

I am trying to set up a low power dsp. Can you recommend it? Since there are many types of c5000 & c6000 series , it is difficult to select. The product is for Zigbee communication. We are going to choose a low power DSP to minimize battery consumption.
The chip currently used (TMS320F28377S) consumes a lot of current.
normal mode: 140mA.
sleep mode: 120mA.
standby mode : 110mA. halt mode: 60mA.
Specifications.
1. SPI: at least 1x
2. SCI: at least 2x.
3. ADC : at least 2x
4. CPU : 32bit
5. core : single core
6. Speed: at least 200MHz
7. Size: Smallest
8. OS : not use

  • C55x is our lowest power DSP series that is small and with C5517 and C5535 could be good options for what you are looking for.

In the C6000 series, C6742 would definitely be the lowest power C6000 DSP that we have to offer. You can use the power consumption spreadsheet on ti.com to estimate the power and current consumption for your usecase.
