Dear team:

A customer of mine wants to use an external 1.2V power supply to power the chip core. 

1, He wants to know: does it need external BOR circuit for external 1.2v power supply?

2, do we have a recommended 1.2V power supply monitoring chip?

    Hi Green,

    VDD is not internally monitored. However, whether or not to use a supervisor to monitor the VDD rail is really dependent on the application and the customer's needs. Safety critical applications tend to use voltage monitors for all the rails so this is really up to the customer.

    If they do decide to go with a supervisor, they can check our control cards if they need a suggestion of what supervisor to go with.
