LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Application note or example of communication of 2 LAUNCHXL-F28379D.

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE,

HI,

I am trying to communicate two DSP launchpads f28379D so that floating data can be shared between them. As you can see in the figure below, You can see that DSP 1 carries 3 float data "vty" to DSP 2; simultaneously, the latter sends 9 ixy. Is that the launchpads have14 ADC and 6 PWM modules, but the control requires 9 + 3 +9 ADC> 14, and 9 PWM modules> 6. Therefore, I have to work with a platform made up of two DSP launchpads f28379D.

Is there a an application note where you have the to expand the number of I/O for a certain control approach? Or any suggestion I'd be grateful.

I'm not aware of any app not like this for C2000 with SPI. I think you'll have to build up such a protocol / application on your own. There are SPI examples for this device within the C2000WARE installation, see directory below:

    C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_03_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\spi

Also the F28379D has 12 ePWM modules, 24 channels. At least 12 of these channels are brought out to designated pins on the LAUNCHXL-F28379D boosterpack headers. There's 16 ADC channels brought out to the LaunchPad's headers, I realize that may still be an issue for your application.

    Best,

    Kevin
