TMS320F280049: UID Regs....Why no bit field header?

Part Number: TMS320F280049
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Software Team,

Is there a reason why the UID regs aren't provided as an easily accessible structure like every other customer facing register on the device?  I've looked in the C28x style structs, and in the hwmemap.h and hwsysctl.h files and I don't see anything listed for them.  I know I can access them manually using a pointer, but I feel like C2k should provide a method to access these using their normal software flows for consistency's sake.  I mean you've got Sal's nice app note calling attention to them and then you leave your developers hanging.  Just my 2 cents on something that stood out to me as something that could easily be added to improve customer experience.

Best,

Trey
