LAUNCHXL-F280025C: Error communicating with the Launchpad

Hi Team,

Our customer is unable to communicate with the F28002x to Code Composer Studio. He is using a USB cable plugged into the debug port on the F28002x. His CCS is up to date and has the C2000 library installed. The error message below appeared in CCS. I have searched for possible solution here in E2E but I can't find a clear one.

    Hi Danilo,

    There are some debug tips included in the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of the LaunchPad user guide. Can you ask the customer to review those points? Namely, the customer needs to make sure the board has power and that the JTAG signals are connected to the MCU.

    The part number given is LAUNCHXL-F280025C which has an on-board XDS110 Debug Probe.

    The error message shows that a XDS100v2 Debug Probe has been selected in CCS.

    Assuming the customer has a LAUNCHXL-F280025C, can they try selecting a XDS110 Debug Probe in the CCS Target Configuration?
