How to save the Code Security Mode (CSM) password in Code Compose Studio (CCS) v3.3

Hi, all

 

Must i tip in the password everytime? Or is there any way to save the password?

    I don't think there is a way to save the password and pass it to the Flash programmer plugin. Once the code has been flashed though, if you just want to debug the code, you could use the Unlock_CSM() function within the GEL file for your device as mentioned in this related post. Just modify the function to use the correct password instead of the 0xFFFF dummy passwords.

    I will also move your post to the C2000 Microcontroller forum in case the experts there have something to add.

    Aarti is correct.  You can use the gel file to unlock the device.
