TMS320F28388D: Connecting the C2000 MCU with a separate FPGA

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Hi,

I'm working on a design where we are looking into using the dual-core C2000 on the same PCB as an FPGA. The design will, in addition to the MCU and FPGA, include an external SRAM for the MCU (using ). Can you advise me on the recommended method for interfacing between C2000 MCUs and FPGAs, or suggest any documentation for this type of connection? Low latency is especially important for the application. I have currently looked into using the External Memory Interface (EMIF) with one chip-select for the SRAM and one for the FPGA, or using EMIF for the SRAM, while using FSI for communicating with the FPGA
