TMS320F28379D: 12 bit Asynchronous device interface with EMIF?

In TRM, They say 16 bit, 8 bit asynchronous devices can be interfaced. Does it mean that 12 bit asynchronous device cannot be interfaced?

Hi Ganesh,

You can connect 12bit device but since EMIF only supports 8bit/16bit/32bit addressing mode so you need to choose 16bit mode for this and ignore 4MSB bit from data.
