TMS320F280025: CMD issue when change COFF to EABI

Part Number: TMS320F280025

Hi,

customer uses F280025, they need to change output file from COFF to EABI, but FWInfo.asm not show at the designated address.

it should show at 0x080002，but hex is empty，it goes to 0x080018:

they use the same process for F28034 and F280049 and never meet this issue.

Hi Yuan Tan,

EABI compiler removes the unreferenced section from the linking stage. Can you try adding .retain above the section. This will tell the linker to retain the section even though it is not explicitly referenced in the application code.
