Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hi everybody ,

I have a control card  and would like to boot over SCI and flash .

I m ok on boot pins , but  what about  serial to PC using onboard FTDI  : coudl you kindly confirm me whihc pins and where to connect on the card ?

I m using GPIO42 and 43   but I m not so sure how to do connections  on the board

thank you

  • On the control card, the FTDI device UART is connected to GPIO28 and GPIO29. By default, the F2837xD device SCI boot mode will use GPIO84 and GPIO85. However, there is an alternate SCI boot mode that uses GPIO28 and GPIO29 (see Table 9-15. GPIO Pins Used by Each Peripheral Bootloader in device datasheet). The easiest thing would be to change to that alternate boot mode. Is that a useful option for you? Or are you using GPIO28/29 for some other function?
