TMS320F280049: Regarding DCSM and unique device number for security applications

Hi expert,

My customer is working on securing contents in F280049 device's RAM and FLASH. They'd like factory or field not touch DCSM password when they need to re-program the device.

Do you have any application note or solution for that part?

We are specially cares about:

1. How to use device unique number

2. How to manage password, any chance for a private one and a public one.

Hi Sheldon,

In this case I would suggest to have built in flash API which can update the Flash but it'll not be able to update the USER (DCSM) OTP content. Please refer this appnote for the same.
