TMS320F28027F: Is a 10kOHm Pull-Up on VREGENZ acceptable

Hi in the most recent datasheet there is this comment regarding disabling the internal 1.8V LDO:



We currently use a 10kOhm Pull-up and do not see any documentation in terms of current draw in the datasheet that is specifically for this pin.

Is it acceptable to pull VREGENZ up to VDDIO using a 10kOhm resistor, or do we need to tie the pin directly to VDDIO with no pull-up?

    Peter,

    I checked with the team, and functionally there exists between a 21k-60k Pull down internally on this pin.  To be safe I would recommend either a stronger PU(2.2k) or just replacing the PU with a  0 ohm shunt to VDDIO.
