Using Driver libraries API are a very good way for programming MCUs, however when I am using these API I would like to know which CPU register is being modified by a function , for example function "ADC_forceMultipleSOC(...)" is modifying which register. I played around with these LIBs and couldn't figure out how.

can any body help me with this issue?

Hi Arash,

You will have to look into the source code of these functions to determine the registers that are modified. The source code is located at C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_3_04_00_00\driverlib\f2837xd\driverlib folder

I did but it is not possible to determine the effected register, those source codes does not tell you explicitly. Is there any other way?

Hi,

There is no other way. You will have to refer the source code or single step through the source code and check in the CCS memory window. The driverib API's provide a abstraction layer so that a user need not know the registers to be programmed/updated for performing a particular functionality.

Can you let me know why do you need this information? Just curious to know.
