Hello,

From the figure 3-1 of the datasheet, it seems that the CAN-FD module (MCAN) can be used by both the C28x CPU1 and the CM.

However, from the figure 1-1 of the TRM, it seems that the CAN-FD module (MCAN) can only be used by the CM.

So there is an inconsistency, who is stating the truth ?

Hi,

CPU1 and CM both have access to MCAN (CAN-FD) and this has been updated in new TRM release which should be available on web by end of this week.

Will a C2000 Ware new version be released containing updated driverlib/examples of C28x using MCAN ?

Yes, latest C2000Ware release (C2000Ware v3.04) should already have this support.
