TMS320F28075: Compiler error: Same C sentence comes out different disassembly

Hi expert,

We get wrong calculation result from some C sentence, while a similar one gets the correct result. Disassembly code difference is witnessed here, please see my details in attached file.

I am going to get the code generation tool version they are using.

Please see if this problem is similar to the one discussed in this forum thread. Note how the disassembler is used to see what is in the program before it is loaded into system memory. Perform that same check for the memory ranges where the instructions seem wrong. Let us know what you find.

Hi George,

Not really, We see more assembly lines in one pieces of code than the other. It might be different cases.

Could you have a quick look at the pdf I attached here?

I still suspect something has changed the code after the compiler generated it. Nonetheless ...

It appears all of the problem code is in the same source file. For that source file, please follow the directions in the article How to Submit a Compiler Test Case.

Hi George,

Agree with we, these two different result are coming from debugger flashed and boot loader flashed firmware.

We are investigating in why boot loaded code was changed in flash.
