TMS320F28379D: Editor Tab Size

Greetings,

I am using CCS 9.1.0.00010 and trying to set the tab size when I’m entering tabs. In the Window->Preferences, under General->Editors->Text Editors, I see that I can modify the “Displayed tab width”, and “Insert spaces for tabs”. But I haven’t been able to find a place which lets me change the size of the tabs when they are being typed. Should I be looking somewhere else?

Hi Ed,

Go to: Window --> Preferences --> C/C++ --> Code Style --> Formatter --> click "Edit" button for the CCS Active profile --> click "Indentation" tab on top-left --> change "Indentation size" to the desired value. A blank value will use the default (which is 4).

Hi Ki,

I don't see the C/C++ item in mine. I see the following... Is the above correct for CCS 9.1.0.00010?

In my first screenshot, see the highlighted item in the lower left corner of the dialog. You may need to press the link there also to show advanced options.
