TMS320F28335: Sys Bios tick max rate

Hello, thank you for your response. I have checked the post. Can you give the theoretical minimum tick rate that could be achieved with a 30 Mhz 28335 processor? More or less, we have 10 clocks and 10 swi's. 

A SYSCLK rate of 30 MHz is pretty low. I don't have a benchmark on how long it takes for the clock tick Hwi to run, but there are benchmarks here on Hwi dispatcher execution time with an empty Hwi function and the execution time of posting a Swi and doing different types of context switches to them. The Clock module's "workFunc" Swi loops through all of the clocks and calls their functions. Do you know what the maximum number of Clock instances that could be ready to run at one time is? Do you know how long each of their functions takes to run?

As I said in that thread I linked to previously, if the reason you decreased the clock tick period is because you want a faster periodic interrupt and not necessarily because you were trying to increase the Task_sleep or Semaphore time out granularity, you may want to consider a timer interrupt and if necessary, make it a zero-latency interrupt.
