TMS320F280025: Code Transplantation from TMS320F2812

Dear Expert,

My customer prepare to change 2812 to 280025. We used peripherals like ADC and PWM in 2812.

Now we want to know if there is a corresponding relationship between 2812 and 280025(such as ADCIN A0 - A7, ADCIN B0- B7 on 2812 can simply match relative pins on 280025 and pwm1-6 on 2812 can simply match relative pins on 280025) If it is OK, We will only change program as little as possible, the transplantation work is simple and fast.Pls help give some advice. Thank you.

    Hi Derek,

    Unfortunately, the ADC and PWM blocks in F2812 and F280025 are very much different so one-to-one conversion is not straightforward.  Moreover, package options between the 2 devices are also different (F2812 are available in 179PBGA, 176PQFP and 128PPBK package options while F280025 are in 48PT, 64PM and 80PN packages).  For background on the module differences between the two devices (or any other C2000 device, consult the peripheral guide doc SPRU566N in ti.com).  Also, a quick look ad the device specifications between F2812 and F280025 show very different device operating conditions.  Migrating between F2812 and F280025 will take some effort in both HW and SW due to these differences mentioned.
