Hi,

Can someone please provide a working sample boot loader code for both the MCU and DSP?

It would be really great if any example code is provided for firmware upgrade over any peripheral. Thanks in advance!!

    Hello,

    Unfortunately we do not have flash kernels for this device.  resources that will help you develop one would be:

    • www.ti.com/lit/sprabv4  - Serial flash programming of C2000 devices.
    • The boot ROM chapter of the device technical reference manual 
    • There are a number of threads on E2E regarding this topic

    If you would consider a 3rd party loader, check with Simma Software (https://www.simmasoftware.com/).

    I'd like to note that we have newer devices with C28x + ARM (architecture is different than F28M - but I think improved) and we also have dual core C28x devices.  If this is a new development I encourage you to check them out.  I feel they have better supporting collateral and we have made a number of improvements over the years.
