TMS320F280049C: Error 151 for example design using Launchpad

Part Number: TMS320F280049C

Hi there,

I'm trying to get going on the Launchxl F280049C and ran into an error I don't understand. I downloaded C2000 Ware 3_04 and tried to run some examples from driverlib\f28004x\examples\adc.

When I try to run the adc_ex4_soc_software_sync example everything works like a charm but if I run the adc_ex1_soc_epwm example I get the following error:
Error connecting to the target:
(Error -151 @ 0x0)
One of the FTDI driver functions used during the connect
returned bad status or an error. The cause may be one or
more of: no XDS100 is plugged in, invalid XDS100 serial number,
blank XDS100 EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers, faulty USB cable.
Use the xds100serial command-line utility in the 'common/uscif'
folder to verify the XDS100 can be located.

The same applies for example ex2 and ex3 everythin above ex4 works. How is that possible? I compared the projectspec files for these projects and  they are all identical. Hence the entire setup regarding the XDS should be the same right? However the error code states XDS100 while there is a XDS110 on the launchpad isn't it?

I'd really appreciate some advice on this!

Regards,

Lennart
