TMS320F28388D: How to Load Multiple .out files At a single time.

Hi,

TMS320F28388D contains 13 sectors of Flash.

If I want to load multiple .out files in different flash sectors of TMS320F28388D,

For example if i want to load one .out file in flash sectors 0-3 and another .out file in flash sectors 4-8 like this.

Is there any provision in Code Composer Studio to load multiple .out files in different sectors of flash at one time.

Rather than Loading multiple .out files multiple times in different flash sectors.

Hi Saikumar,

Flash programming operation is Serial, it cannot load code in parallel into different Flash sectors. But you can combine .out file into 1 .out file, and Flash API in CCS can load the code into all the sectors without you having to load .out one at a time.

Sai Kumar,

Nirav meant the flash API embedded in to the CCS's on-chip Flash plugin (CCS debug view -> Tools -> On-chip flash).

If you need flash API usage example, it is available in C2000Ware (c2000\C2000Ware_3_04_00_00\driverlib\f2838x\examples\c28x\flash)
