TMS320F28335: Anti-aliasing

Genius 9880 points

Part Number: TMS320F28335

Hi Team,

Good day.

Customer have two questions regarding the device.

1. Does TI recommend using an anti-aliasing filter? And if so, what would TI recommend?

2. 10kohm resistor in series with the input to the ADC, is the input impedance of the ADC significant in comparison to the resistor?

Regards,

Maynard

It is generally a good practice to use anti-aliasing filters where practical. Most applications work fine with a simple RC filter.

10kohm resistor in series with the input to the ADC, is the input impedance of the ADC significant in comparison to the resistor?

The ADC Chapter in the TRM includes an ADC Input Model and guidelines for estimating a proper ACQ_PS value.
