TMS320F280049C: InstaSPIN Projects and Labs User's Guide for F28004xC

Hello,

I have recently downloaded the software package of C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_3_01_00_00 from the TI web site, and installed it in my PC.

In the folder of \solutions\tmdshvmtrinspin\f28004x\ccs\sensorless_foc, there are PROJECTSPEC files corresponding to is01_intro_hal, is02_offset_gain_cal, ..., is13_fwc_mtpa.

It seems that they are PROJECTSPEC files associated with the example InstaSPIN projects and labs for the device of TMS320F28004x.

However I am not able to find out the document of InstaSPIN Projects and Labs User's Guide for is01, is02, ..., is13 in the TI web site.

Would you please enclose the InstaSPIN Projects and Labs User's Guide for F28004xC in the reply for this post?

    All of the source codes are included in the related folders of motorControlSDK. You might import the project within CCS, and then you can find which files are used in this project.

    You can find the lab guide and the related project major files in the folder below.

    C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_3_01_00_00\solutions\common\sensorless_foc

    And the used FOC modules files in the folder below

    C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_3_01_00_00\libraries

    In the folder of \solutions\tmdshvmtrinspin\f28004x\ccs\sensorless_foc, there are two PROJECTSPEC files for each example lab.

    For instance, is01_intro_hal_coff.projectspec and is01_intro_hal_eabi.projectspec  for the lab is01.

    What is the difference between coff.projectspec file and eabi.projectspec file?

    Which projectspec file should I import for the lab is01?

    These two projects use different output file formats, but share almost all of the source files except using different format FAST library, and have the same running result. You can use either one that depends on which format you want to implement. 

    You might take a look at the link below about the COFF and EABI format.

    I now understand that these two projects use different output file formats.

    Meanwhile, with reference to the previous MotorControl_SDK_3_00_00, there is only one PROJECTSPEC file for each example lab.

    For instance, is01_intro_hal.projectspec for the lab is01.

    Does this file of is01_intro_hal.projectspec correspond to the  _coff.projectspec file or _eabi.projectspec file?

    There is only a COFF format instaspin-foc project in MotorControl_SDK_3_00_00. Just support EABI from MotorControl_SDK_3_01_00_00 per some users' requirements.
