Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28035
Hello
I am using TMS320F28035 based (home grown) target board. I use Signum emulator to flash and run the program on the target. Just now, while I was "flash"ing the device, the flash utility window froze. I waited for enough, closed it and retried to flash. But suddenly a window pops up asking for CSM Keys. I knew immediately, the processor got locked out and it was a disaster, The only option is to change it. We are in early stages of the project and have nothing to do with CSM nor gone anywhere near it, but still we get locked out..
I vaguely remember reading a post in this forum the other day talking about similar disaster. These are not isolated cases.
I fear the CSM is a rouge show spoiler. Is there a way to avert this mishap (for no fault of ours)? Is TI doing something about it? Is there a strict list of DO's and DON'Ts to avoid recurrance of the same?
Awaiting input,
Thanks,
Sayee
