TMS320F280049: use T1 to change PWM wave

Hi expert,

I am support customer use CMPSS to generate T1 and then change the PWM wave.

and I did the test in lab.

I give a ramp from 0 to 3V as the CMPSS positive input.

and I changed the frequency and find something interesting.

my question is when the Frequency is 10KHz. when the CMPSS output is always high. why the PWMB does not become 1 after the first time.

does the T1 event is generated only by a rising or falling edge ,not a high or low level?

I already Disable TZ action of DCAEVT1. if you did not understand, I can share the code by email.

Yes T1/2 are edges. If you want level based continuous action, please use the TRIPZONE or DIGITAL COMPARE modules.

where describe this in TRM. I did not find relevant introduction. could you kindly point it out? it is important to support customer.

The description of DCxEVTy is present in the TRM, as long as those are active their actions are effective.

The CBC and OST are also the same, as long as the output of their OR is active, their actions take effect.

T1/T2 is the same as all over CMPx events since they are in the same TRM section.
