I have installed C2000ware from the resource explorer. I can import an example project and work with the available syscfg file. But when I try to create a new CCS project, and I selected an empty project with main , no syscfg is generated. I have added C2000ware in the product tab of the properties of the new project. How can i get syscfg for my new project?

    Yes thats right. Not only that your driverlib support, your bitfield support or any other support is not in an empty CCS project created through that method.

    The correct way is to copy and paste an example project and go from there since it has all of the hooks ready.
