TMS320F28388D: What is a detailed meaning "Per module(1) Not configurable (12-bit only)" ?

Hi,

I would like to get more detailed information.

In spruii0c_F2838xD document,

the following description show. I understand "Resolution" = 12-bit/16-bit are configurable per module.

However "Not configurable (12-bit only)" is not clear for me.

Could you let me know more information ?

Hi Hidehiko,

This just means that this device only supports 12-bit ADC, and no configuration can be made to change the resolution. This is in contrast to devices where the resolution is user configurable as either 12-bits or 16-bits.

Hi Hidehiko,

Sorry, didn't see the device. This device has configurable resolution (should be "Per Module"). The documentation filters apparently resulted in two different values showing up at once. "Not configurable..." is for a different device family. I've submitted to have the documentation updated.
