TMS320F28377D: Can the driverlib functions and direct register access be used concurrently?

Hi,

I am looking through cla_ex1_asin_cpu2.c and cla_ex1_asin_cpu1.c in C2000Ware examples, and they seem to be written purely in driverlib functions.

I am used to programming in the direct register mode. Is it posible to use driverlib functions in a code that is predominantly written by direct register access, or will there be compilation errors?

Is there an example for this MCU using dual core example and CLA launches in a direct register access mode if not?
