SW LIN on SCI/LIN Module

Dear C2k Team,

my customer develops a new application on F280023 and wants to implement LIN on this device.

Despite the devices supports HW LIN, the customer want to use SCI Mode to reuse existing SW and to adjust timings to special customer requirements not supported by HW LIN.

They use LaunchXL F280025C for the SW development.
They have started to port their existing LIN SW-Driver from teh previously used MCU to F280025 and therefore they use the LIN Module in SCI Mode.
For the inital test they send a byte w/ 0x55 in 1ms cycle scheduled by Timer 0. The works fine for sending out the header.
When they try to send a data byte right afterwards, it takes about 622us until they can send out the next data byte, despite the TXRDY bit is already high much earlier.

Similar behaviour on RX side.

Is there a way to reduce/eliminate the delay time between the SCI-frames?
