TMS320F28379D: How do I interpret the LEDs on the board?

Is there documentation that describes the relevance of the green, red and blue LEDs on this microcontroller? My controller currently has a solid green LED, a red LED that flashes slowly, and a blue LED that flashes rapidly. My colleague has the exact same setup on another bench; however, his LEDs show blue and green as solid while the red LED flashes. What's the difference?

Board used is the C2000 LaunchPad XL, TMS320F28379D, Ver 2.0

Hey Gus,

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, the user guide is pretty sparse on the LED details, and I was hoping for more information. The user guide only mentions that the blue and red LEDs will be on depending on whether the ADC is sampling above or below mid-scale. It doesn't mention anything about the green LED, and it also doesn't mention the significance of the LEDs blinking and the speed at which they blink. I've seen a combination of solid LEDs, slow blinking, fast blinking, etc. but I still don't understand what the LEDs are trying to tell me.

I hope this helps:

D1 (GREEN): MCU 3.3V power (you can see this in schematic)
D9 (RED) / D10 (BLUE): Every 1 second the ADC samples pin ADCIN14 and the sampled data is represented as follows: If the sample is above mid-scale (2048), the blue LED D10 will illuminate. If the sample is below mid-scale, the red LED D9 will illuminate.
D4 (GREEN): FTDI (embedded emulator) 3.3V power (you can see this in schematic)
D7 (BLUE) / D8 (RED): FTDI (embedded emulator) LEDs (you can see this in schematic)

The D7 & D8 LEDs flash when there is embedded emulator activity (stepping through code on CCS, or loading to code to flash and RAM).

Note D9 and D10 are user LEDs. Their use depends on what code is running on the MCU. The description I gave above assumes the demo application is running.
