My customer has a question-
In our design, we have an Audio CODEC with an I2S interface that communicates with the DSP processor. The TI version of this makes use of something called the McBSP to handle I2S communications. The McBSP’s are only offered on the TMS320F2837x series of processors that I can see from the web site. The I2S interface is a common interface for ADC’s and DAC’s, so are there other ways to use TI DSP to communicate with an I2S interface without a McBSP? What are the alternatives to McBSP?
