Hi TI expert

I want to buy hardware on which I can directly do my experiment. I want to use f28335 DSP.

If there is some paid service for providing guidance.. I am willing to take it. Just I need to prepare my experimental setup.

I already have an f28335 experimenter kit but I think I need some other hardware to connect it to the IGBTs.

Can you please guide me to buy all the necessary stuffs to which is required for controlling the IGBTs switching.

I'd recommend looking at this High Voltage Motor PFC Kit

You can find both the supporting documents and FW in controlSUITE(you'll need to install this to your PC) in this directory C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v2.1.

This should give some ideas on connections needed to the IGBTs and support ICs(drivers) we have used.

Hi Matthew

The High Voltage Motor PFC Kit seems for mainly motor control. I want to control switching(of 8 IGBTs) in a DC-DC converter. I already have the tms320f28335 experimenter kit, I believe it requires some step-up voltage circuit hardware and perhaps something to provide isolation for the safety of the kit. I am considering buying a TMDSPREX28335
C2000 Peripheral Explorer Kit if my f28335 experimenter kit can't do the job. I was expecting some information regarding the interface between the experimenter kit and igbts.

Li,

I would look at these DC/DC kits from C2000 and their HW design files and SW packages to get an idea of some approaches to this topology. While these are not plug and play with the F28335 Control CARD, the implementation should still be similar.
