Shadow register AQCTLA and AQCTLA2 in TMS320F2837xS Technical Reference Manual on P1578-P1580

Question1: Does AQCTLA2 register have shadow register?

it's clear that AQCTLA register have shadow register which can be configured in AQCTL register.

AQCTLA2 register is just same as AQCTLA register.

It also can control ePWMA action, but source come from T1 or T2 event.

But I can't find anything about individual operation mode in Technical Reference Manual ?

Does it have  shadow register? if have, how to updata it?

I guess AQCTLA2 register may be configured by AQCTL.bit.SHDWAQAMODE, AQCTL.bit.LDAQAMODE and AQCTL.bit.LDAQASYC, which is same as AQCTLA.

Question2: where is DCAEVTX or DCBEVTX from in the AQTSRCSEL register.

DCAEVT1, DCBEVT1, DCAEVT2 and DCBEVT2 can be selected as source input of Action Qualifer sunmodule.

Take DCAEVT1 for examle,

where is DCAEVT1 from?

Is it DCAEVT1.force in the figure below ?


if so, i think the following Figure should be modified.

    As you've correctly mentioned above the difference, what more info are you seeking of? Isn't that enough ie to select the source and the respective action to be taken?

    I didn't get your 2nd question. It would be better if a TIer can explain the same.

    I know how to select source and the respective action.
    As AQCTLA register have shadow mode, I doubt whether AQCTLA2 have shadow mode or not?
    there is nowhere to mentioned above in Technical Reference Manual.

    HN: I believe your understanding is correct. The same control bits in AQCTL configure shadow mode operation for both registers.

    HN: DCAEVT1 signal that can be the source for T1, T2 action qualifier events comes from the output of the EVENT A Qual block.

     In your replay, DCAEVT1 signal is from EVENT A Qual block, shown in the following figure.

    Is it correct?
