TMS320F28335: how to acquire adc value in simulink

Dear friends, I've connected the F28335 DSP to my simulink and using ADC for reading the value of voltage and current. Now,I wanna know ,can I monitor the real-time value of the input in simulink without serial port and code compose? how to acquire this value. help me pls

You can use MathWorks Embedded Coder and free C2000 Support Package with External mode to log data from a C2000 MCU, without using CCS.

I tried what you said but I got the following mistakes. I'm experimenting in external mode

Failed to open serial port COM2. Possible causes are:

a) The target is not powered on.

b) The specified port number is not correct.

c) The specified bit rate is not supported by the host machine.

d) The specified port is occupied by another application.

e) The previous connection was not closed correctly. If this is the case, you may need to re-start MATLAB.

how to solve this problem

Error indicates the COM port assigned to MathWorks software is unable to connect to your board.

This is a common error message. Typically it means you haven't selected the correct COM port in Embedded Coder, or that the COM port is already in use (by CCS, or by a prior failed build and download). Check your configuration and release the COM port before building and downloading code.

If you continue to have issues, please contact MathWorks Technical Support.
