TMS320F28379D: Delay measure between two signals

Hello,

I am trying to use the TMS320F28379D Launchpad to measure the time between two signals. The first is a 10 to 80 kHz PWM signal, coming form one of the ePWM modules, and the second one is a 50 Hz square wave. I need to measure the time between the falling edge of the PWM and the rising edge of the square wave. Untill now I am trying to do it with eCAP modules, but I cannot stop the counter of the eCAP with an event happening in another input.

Is there any accurate way to measure these kind of signals?

Hi Urko,

Yes, this is one of the uses for the eCAP so you are on the right track. If you are only looking to capture one event, you can setup the eCAP to do one-shot capture. Please look at the following thread. https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/171/t/833786
