I am trying to figure out the tolerance/Accuracy of measurements made using the ADCs in this part.
We use an external reference.
The datasheet shows gain error of +/-50 LSBs. it also shows offset error of +/-80 LSBs.
So what am I supposed to use when trying to figure out the expected accuracy of the measurement?
Whatever I get is it +/-80? +/-50? or +/- (80+50) (i.e.+/-130)?

I am assuming you are trying to find the total unadjusted error (TUE). This specification assumes that no system level calibration is performed, and is used to represent the maximum deviation between the actual and ideal transfer function of an ADC. Usually, offset and gain are calibrated or adjusted through hardware/software. If you have not already, I would suggest looking at this application report: F2810, F2811, and F2812 ADC Calibration . It provides information on how to calibrate and reduce these errors specifically for the F2812 device.
