TMS320F28035: unused VREFHI

What is the recommendation to connect the VREFHI (80pin package/ unmuxed pin) when using the ADC with internal REF.

Is in this case connection to VSSA without 1kOhm resistor okay like for an unused ADC?

    Bernd,

    This datasheet recommendation allows for a direct connection to VSSA:

    There is no functional requirement to connect unused pins like VREFHI to VSSA when not used; it is a recommendation to help simplify PCB design decisions.  As such, I would personally prefer to connect VREFHI to VDDA so that there is an alternate ADC reference source that can be useful as a redundancy and diagnostics.
