Hi,

I am using the F28377D on a customised control board. I used the TI CLB tool to generate a PWM3 at pins GPIO4 and GPIO5 by using CLB overriding option signal using ePWM internal peripherals of PWM1 and PWM2. I have no issue with the CLB tool set up and the code is built with no errors. My concern is that when I am debugging the project I get the below error and I only see the internal peripherals signals PWM1 and PWM2 and I get the below error:

C28xx_CPU1: Error initializing flash programming: Interface returned from dll, but flash is not available on this device.

GPIO4 and GPIO5 are turned on continuously high though but I am not exactly getting the signal I want. I can run different projects with no issues but I am not sure why the control board doesn't work properly with the CLB tool?

Sorry for the late response. We are trying to find the best person to review your query. Your issue is that you do not see the correct PWM waveform on GPIO4 and GPIO5? Are these GPIOs the ones shown in magenta and green your scope plot?

Hi Gus,

Thanks for your response. Yes the signal above is from my scope. Yelow signal (PWM1A), Blue signal (PWM2A), while the magenta and green signals are for the wanted (PWM3A & PWM3B) which are set high at all time after debugging for some reason.

So basically I can debug the project but I see the message I mentioned above and I thought it could be the reason why I am not getting the signals I want

Please note that I have tested different GOPI pins including GPIO4 and GPIO5 without the CLB tool and I can get signals at them with no issue!

Hi Nima,

Thanks agian for getting in touch! I spoke with the technician who made the PCB control board and he doubt that it is a hardware issue as we tested all GPIO pins and different projects with no issue. I have actually made a test to get the signals at PWM2 pins using the override option of CLB2 and I selected the global input signals of PWM1 and PWM3. then I ended up with the same issue that I don't see the right signals at PWM2 pins and they are turned on active high all time.

So I am stuck now
