LAUNCHXL-F28069M: Sin Wave in MATLAB using pwm

Hello TI,

It sounds stupid question for expert but I am new to electronics.

I want to generate sinwave of 10kHz freq. with F28069M launchpad. I will need this sinwave for excitation of Motor's sensor(Resolver). of course I can do this with OP-Amp and many different ways by using other devices but as i can use pwm of my launchpad then how would i get it?

I am using MATLAB/Simulink for this application. Can anyone help to give some information to start?

Hello Brian,

I am using c2000 support package only. But I dont have any idea how to use PWM or DAC GPIOs on F28069M launchpad to generate analog signal?

Do you have any demo or Model or anything to start with?

How to use ePWM block in simulink?

Hi Rahul,

I think you should start simple,with create a sine wave in Simulink and send that to an Analog IO block: https://www.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/texasinstrumentsc2000/ref/c2802xc2803xc2806xf28m3xanalogiooutput.html

I dont know if this will work at 10kHz though, but it should work for lower frequencies like 500 Hz. Once you get going, you can start to explore the ePWM block (which is complex, and typically square waves)
