Dear TI Hello,

I am working on PMSM mathematical modilization machine. I am using the CPU2 on the DSP320F28379D to code all the mathematical equations.

Dose a mathematical model could be developed on the CLA ?

My question is. If I chose to code my simulator program on the CLA. Could the CLA Run an infinite loop to simulate the motor?

I would appreciate your idea about this issue? Does TI has any motor model developed in the ti/:…/ ?

Hi,

MathWorks does support code generation for the CLA, with some limitations. More info here:

While we provide some examples, it is up to you to create the model that works for your application.

I'd like to use Matlab for this purpose to generate C code,

Do I have to purchase any licence to use the code generation. I am working on my own, I don't think is financially efficient for me since I work on this at home independently.

Does Matlab blocs exists in Matlab/Simulink library?

You would require our code generation products.

MATLAB Coder + Simulink Coder + Embedded Coder

The Support Package for C2000 is based on Embedded Coder, which customizes the code generation and provides peripheral support specifically for C2000. You can see more about that at the link Santhosh provided.

We do not offer a home use license for code generation products - these are only available for commercial and academic customers. If you want to tinker at home, I would advise using CCS + hand code to work with the C2000.
