Hi everybody
I have a TMS570 Eval kit which behaves funny: I can develop code with it for 2 weeks then the CCS cannot connect to it anymore:
I of course tried this:
Only the change of the Laptop got it working again. Unfortunately after another 2 weeks I am at the same point again: CCS cannot connect to the target anymore.
Has anyone seen this behavior before? And more important: does anyone have a solution for it?
Kind regards, Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Please download FTCLEAN to clean all the FTDI drivers from the PC. The PC may have several version FTDI drivers as on my PC.

After clean, please re-install the FTDI driver from TI.

QJ
Hi Kevin
I uninstalled everything and used the cleaning-device that was provided by QJ in the above reply from Mar 19, 2013 3:58 PM. I then reinstalled all that was needed and made sure that I always plugged the debugger into the same USB-Port so that it wouldn't install the same driver again when using another USB-Port.
By now I use a more fancy debugger, the X560.
Kind regards,
Thomas
