Q. What uC part#s are good for IEC60730 Class C ?
Q. Could you please advise an article or web page that relates the proposed parts and the standard? I would like to share the article with my customer. I would ask the following page will tell good parts for the standard: http://www.ti.com/ww/en/functional_safety/safeti/SafeTI-60730.html This page says "Class C", but I could not find what part to choose.

The SafeTI web site for IEC 60730 lists the TI components which specifically have a support package for the IEC 60730 standard. At this time these products are targeting the Class B level of safety integrity rather than Class C. The C2000 offering is certified compliant by 3rd party assessors.
The Hercules MCUs do not explicitly provide an IEC 60730 support package. However, they are developed targeting compliance to IEC 61508 up to SIL3, which is a more complex super set of the IEC 60730 Class C requirements. Several customers have used the IEC 61508 supporting evidence to help justify their IEC 60730 system. There is an app note on this topic here:
