Force PBIST RAM check to fail?

Is there a way to force the PBIST RAM check (March13N in specific) to fail?

I would like to verify that in the event of a RAM bank failure, the PBIST catches it and handles the failure correctly.

Hi Warren,

No there isn't a way to inject one of the errors (address decoder fault, stuck-at fault, coupled fault, .. etc) that PBIST checks into the RAM module. These things aren't really 'injectable' by software like an ECC error can be injectable.

You can test the PBIST pattern ROM -- if you want to test the PBIST controller - but this is all that can be done.
